1 on 1 Personal Training IN CASTLE HILL

Meet Dylan

I didn’t grow up wanting to be a personal trainer.

I loved sport and fitness through school, but like a lot of people, I followed a more traditional path studying engineering at university before moving into a career in marketing.

That’s when things started to change.

Over time, I went from a relatively fit 110kg to 172kg at my heaviest. The hardest part was I didn’t fully see it happening. I was still confident, still living life, and telling myself I was happy.

But deep down, I wasn’t.

When COVID hit, everything slowed down. I was a father of four, and I realised I just wanted to be more active, more present, and more capable for my kids.

That was the turning point.

I started my weight loss journey without worrying about what anyone else thought. Even when I said I wanted to become a personal trainer while still around 160kg people thought I was crazy.

I still remember my first class. I couldn’t do a bodyweight lunge. Squats felt impossible. And I could feel people looking at me, wondering what I was doing there.

But I kept showing up.

Over time, I got stronger, moved better, and built consistency. Today, I’m back down to 113kg and still improving.

Why H&H Fitness Exists

I created this space because I know how intimidating gyms can feel. Not everyone is comfortable walking into a crowded gym and they shouldn’t have to.

I also saw how the industry can get it wrong. I once had a client with a disability who was told their carer needed a membership just to support them. That didn’t sit right with me.

Fitness should be accessible, supportive, and realistic.

My Approach

Consistency over perfection
Simple, sustainable nutrition
Training you actually enjoy

What Makes Me Different

I’ve been the beginner.

I’ve been the one struggling.

I understand what it’s like and that’s how I coach.

You don’t need extremes. You need something that fits your life.
